如何在论文或PPT中标注Elveflow设备?

最近有很多人咨询我们如何在论文、PPT或者PDF文档中写明或注明Elveflow流体设备的名称和型号,我们现提供3种格式供大伙参考:

格式一:

The double emulsion droplet were generated by using microfluidic pressure vaccum controller (OB1 MK3+, Elveflow, France) that independently operated with three liquid streams: inner phase fluid (IPF) for water; middle phase fluid for oil (MPF) and the outer phase fluid for water (OPM). Microfluidic actual flow rates for inner phase, middle phase fluid and outer phase fluid were controlled using thermal-based flow sensors (MFS3 and MFS4, Elveflow, France) which were all automatically operated in closed loop feedback flow control function on the software.


The IPF reservoir, MPF reservoir and OPM reservoir are connected to three MFS flow sensor, then connected flow sensor to the three inlet of chip, respectively. The IPF and OPM reservoir include the liquid containing 5% PVA surfactant (Mw=67000), and the MPF reservoir include paraffin oil. The characteristic flow rates were 1:1:2.2 μL/min for the IPF:MPF:OPM for the double emulsion droplet capiliary glass chips. The size of double emulsion droplet were tuned by changing different flow rate of three phase liquid.

Pulseless and steady-state flows were realized using a OB1 MK3+ pressure flow controller (0-2000mbar, Elveflow, Elvesys, France) connected to vacuum pump (-900 mbar) and air compressor (2500 mbar). This pressure flow controller configured with two channels of output pressures from -900 mbar to 1000 mbar provided the fast pressure modulation (9 ms response time, 35 ms response time, 122 μbar pressure resolution) . These two pressure channels were connected to two MFS3 flow sensors (0±80μL/min-water, Elveflow, Elvesys, France) and the flow rate of liquid were controlled by the inner loop feedback on the software. Teflon PTFE tubing (1/32" inner diameter) was used to carry liquid medium in the flow channel.

The double emulsion droplet PDMS chip consisted of two flow-focusing junction was connected to a pressure flow controller (OB1 MK4, Elveflow, France) to produce monodispersed droplet of approximately 90-110 μm in diameter for inner phase and approximately 150 μm in diameter for outer phase. The produced W/O/W droplet were collected by continuously at the outlet of chip. Droplet formation was monitored using a optical microscope (IX73, Olympus) equipped with a fast camera (PLD-721, Navitar). The pressure used were 200 mbar for inner aqueous phase containing cells, 210 mbar for the middle phase oil and 230 mbar for the outer aqueous phase. W/O/W droplet containing no cells were also generated as controls. All samples were kept statically in Eppendorf tubes at 25℃.

The reservoirs were filled with spore suspension and HFE-7500 fluorinated oil diluted with 1%(w/w) surfactant (Emulseo, France) and connected to the microfluidic chip by OD 1/32" tubing. The reservoirs were connected to the OB1 MK4 pressure controller (Elveflow, France, Elvesys) outlet to control flow rates with MFS3 flow sensor (Elveflow, France, Elvesys) through the ESI software. The droplet size for single spore encapsulation was optimized by applying different pressures to accommodate single spore.
